" I got a cool Fossil watch from a girl as a birthday present last year. I think she likes me ".
(This was purposely meant to sound like me when I was a 10 year old kid who's cheeks would have been glowing with the prospect of the girl actually liking him)

I am 23 as of today , and to give you a recap of events in NO PARTICULAR ORDER :
- She had said 'yes'
- The watch seemed soooo heavy , I started calling it clock.
- It was my 23rd bday when I was gifted the watch
- I underestimated the number of people who would turn up for my birthday.
- We were going to be short of food.
- Yup , I was rite ! The girl liked me..."duh"...I proposed her 2 years ago.
- There was extra dog-food in the cabinet.
- It is still my most priced possession
